Package No.53

Words can't explain how excited I am today! Actually this came earlier according to my workmates, it arrived last Friday when I was gone for a trip. When I had the chance, I'd really go for the pick-up on this even though the School is closed because of the celebration of the Philippines Independence Day. I am pretty amazed no how big is the box. And this is a bit heavy to carry.

The box is very large.

Package No.52

My Spider-verse collection is starting to grow slowly with its 3rd release Spider-Gwen. The outer packaging is a bit bigger because my supplier stuffed it with papers to prevent the Item Box from having dents which I have been complaining a few packages back.

Illustrator: Adi Granov
Sculptor: Abe Jun'nosuke
Manufacturer: Kotobukiya
Classification: ARTFX+
Scale: 1/10

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Kotobukiya's series of Marvel Comics ARTFX+ Statues continues with the latest mutant hero in the Marvel NOW! lineup that has been taking the world by storm. In 2012 the comic book company relaunched several titles, shifting some characters into different books and updating some for a modern audience. More than anything, it provided a perfect jumping on point for new readers. Now the characters are brought to life as never before based on concept artwork by superstar artist Adi Granov, who was also responsible for the preceding Avengers series. Completing the X-Men lineup and joining peviously released Cyclops, Emma Frost, Magneto, Magik, Beast, and Rogue is fan favorite WOLVERINE!

A nearly immortal mutant with a powerful healing factor and heightened senses, Wolverine was further enhanced by an adamantium-laced skeleton and ultra-sharp claws. Throughout his years with the X-Men (and other teams) he's worn several different costumes, and this new version is the ARTFX+ debut of his unique Marvel NOW! outfit consisting of a tough, combat-ready uniform. It's a full bodysuit revealing only the lower part of his fave, though of course his claws protrude through it as well. Wolverine is captured in mid-lunge, stepping forward with his right legs as he jabs his left hand for a lethal strike. The stark black and yellow armor sections of his costume make a cool "X" out of negative space, and it includes his trademark pointed cowl. Logan's face is contorted into a fierce snarl as he attacks his enemies, and he looks super cool with his eyes covered by the pure white lenses of his costume.

Sculpted by the same master artist who did the Marvel NOW! Avengers series, Junnosuke Abe, the diminutive Wolverine stands under 7.5 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale) with magnets in his feet to provide perfect stability on his included display base. This mainstay of the X-books and popular mutant hero is a great solo statue and of course completes your epic Marvel NOW! X-Men collection from Kotobukiya!

In the Marvel NOW! era Rogue got a new look celebrated here as she tightens her gloves for combat. Sculptor: Abe Jun'nosuke

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Kotobukiya's hit line of Marvel Comics Avengers ARTFX+ Statues paved the way for the next incredible comic-based series in this great scale, the X-Men of Marvel NOW! In 2012 the comic book company relaunched several titles, shifting some characters into different books and updating some for a modern audience. More than anything, it provided a perfect jumping on point for new readers. Now the characters are brought to life as never before based on concept artwork by superstar artists Adi Granov, who was also responsible for the Avengers series. Joining previously released Cyclops, Emma Frost, and Magneto, and Magik is the agile and brilliant BEAST!

One of the original five X-Men introduced all the way back in 1963, Henry "Hank" McCoy was a highly intelligent young man whose mutant nature manifested as oversized limbs with fearsome strength. Nicknamed the "Beast," McCoy struggled with his looks and eventually underwent further mutations that gave him blue fur and a bestial appearance. Despite his issues the mutant has always been a champion of his kind, working with many of the "X" teams over the years in addition to other heroic groups like the Avengers. Standing alongside his X-Men compatriots, Beast looks better than ever with an incredible sculpt that really brings to life his inhuman exterior. Hank is posed in a low crouch, resting on the knuckles of one hand while the other is held to the side with claws ready to strike. The mutant's face reveals his determination to fight against evil with a heavy scowl and bared teeth. Covered in intricately sculpted fur, the X-Man is blue all over and wears black shorts for modesty.

Sculpted by the same master artist who did the Marvel NOW! Avengers series, Junnosuke Abe, Beast is just over 5 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10 scale) in his crouched position, and magnets in his feet provide perfect stability on his included display base. The blue Beast looks great on his own and is a fantastic addition to your Marvel NOW! X-Men collection!

Package No.49

Just received my new Gunpla Kit today. Another P-Bandai Exclusive release that I think every Gundam Wing Series fans is waiting for. It is a bit pricey for an MG Kit but still worth the wait. I still have my MG Altron unfinished so this kit will be waiting for its turn to be assembled.

Package No.48

Best start for the year. My ARTFX+ Spider-man that I have been waiting for like a week now just arrived. I didn't expect that Spidey will have this big box because I saw in the early reviews that the figure is just smaller than the ARTFX+ Deadpool which apparently has a smaller box than this one.

As if that wasn't cool enough, she also became a powerful sorceress thanks to her connection to Limbo and wields the mighty Soulsword!

Magik takes her place among Cyclops' team of fearless X-Men with a stunning new look, standing at attention and letting her massive sword do the talking. A massively powerful mutant with the ability to control magnetic fields, Magneto was the very first enemy of the X-Men when they debuted in 1963. Since then he's fluctuated between supervillain and hero, though it's always been his mission to see mutantkind survive at any cost.
