The shoes are cover with the standard Paper with the Kobe logos on it.

Inside are the Shoes

The colorway is called Blackout but it is composed of Violet colors and shades.

The top of the shoe has this design that was inspired with shark teeth but it feels only like Fuse.

The shoe came in with black laces with new design of eyelets.

I would say the shoes is not that breathable, the only space where air can come in and out is in the tongue part.

The Nike logo is in black but if you try to take a picture with flash it will shine just like the 3Ms.

The thickness of the tongue helps lock down your foot inside the shoes.

Just like the past Kobe's it is comfortable inside. The foot really seats inside the shoes perfectly. And the inside cushion is removable as well.

It has an internal Heel counter inside the shoe as well helping your foot to stay put while moving.

The cushion of the shoe is in 2 parts. The forefoot is lunarlon.

Zoom Air on the Heel. It is very responsive.

The traction is brandnew. It is inspired with race car tires. They come in not too squeaky when you try to force rubbing it on the floor but it doesn't mean that the traction is not good.

The Bottom of the Heel has the Kobe signature inside of the X for the Kobe X.

The traction is good but the sole does get a lot of dust that gets inside the nodules of the sole. It is basically made for indoors unlike the past Kobe's so if you want to play this outdoors expect the sole to get worn out easily. The shoe is very hard to break-in. It will take time for your feet to be comfortable be moving until it will break-in because it is very stiff. It is true to size so no worries of picking your size.

I have used the shoe for quite some time now not for Playing but just for casual wear. I noticed that when the shoes are scratched the color seems to be fading away as well. What I did is using a blue marker, I try to dab it lightly to the scratched part and rubbing it using a tissue paper. I would say the shoes is great, my concern only is that it can get a lot of creases specially on the forefoot because of the new Tops. Unlike to the 8's and 9s with the Mesh and Flyknit. I think this is enough for just a brief review of the shoe. Hoping to review more shoes that I will be buying in the future. That's it for now. Thanks for your time.

  1. I've always been a fan of the Nike Kobe X, especially the Blackout edition. While browsing, I recently discovered a collection of quality Kobe replicas. Their designs are strikingly close to the original, and the prices are quite competitive. For anyone looking to explore similar designs without breaking the bank, you might want to see prices on CrossReps. Their range is truly commendable!
