Review: Banpresto Berserk DXF Figure "Guts"

Character: Guts
Origin: Berserk
Manufacturer: Banpresto
Classification: DXF Figure
Series/Volume: ?
Material: PVC, ABS
Release: December 2012
Dimension: H=16cm

Box Art: Front | Back

Box Art: Sides
Box Art: Top | Bottom

Everything is inside this cardboard box.

Each parts are sealed separately in a plastic.

Head: is nicely done. I think they perfectly copied the emotion of the character in the Anime.

Full Body: Front | Back
I like the way they created Guts in a weathered look. Though I don't like the shiny paint on the pants.

Full Body: Sides
I like the look of the armors parts. It's not that much weathered and it really looks like a metal to me.

Cape: Front | Back
The cape is pretty big. It makes the figure back heavy too.
You can also see the badge of Midland on the chest part of the cape.

Cape: Sides
The leather feel on the cape is nicely done. It is a bit sturdy and the same time can be flexed just a bit.

Right Hand with Sword:
I like the swords painting, showing the metallic look and the same time a bit worn out as if it is already used for battle.

Base: is just simple octagon like and some pegs for the feet to mount.

Final Look: Front | Back

Final Look: Sides

Photo Summary of the details.
Above all of my recently bought figures, I am pretty excited on this one. And I'm glad that the figure came out well on the details and what I love the most is the weathering. The trademark post of Guts as he always do before starting to battle looks nice on the figure. I wonder why they didn't include the Helmet, it would have been a good accessory for Guts in this figure. Nonetheless a nice figure for me. I surely recommend it specially to those Berserk fans. That's it for now. Stay tuned for the other reviews. Thanks for your time.
