How I modify MG 1/100 Zaku II Ver.2.0 Hands

I already started working on my MG Zaku II, starting off with the Hands. Ver 2.0 gives you a nicely articulated fingers but it is quite limited since you will have 3 joined fingers aside from the thumb and fore finger. So here is a bit of modification I made just to extend the articulation for the 3 joined fingers.

Originally, you only have 4 points of articulation for the 3 joined fingers.
What will I do is to separated those lower joined fingers connected to the palm.

You'll be needing a Sharp Knife but you can also use your side cutter if you want.
Another is you need sanding papers. I use 800 and 1000 grit for this.

All you need to do is cut them where they are connected to each other.

There you have, already cut. Now you only need to sand of those nub marks to clean it up.

After sanding and cleaning, you will have them all ready for assembling.

Here it is after assembling.

You can now pose it like this.

and this or anything you wanted. wrahahahaha
The separation of the joined fingers are a bit easy but take caution since those are small parts you might lose them while cutting it. Assembling them also is kinda risky because the connecting parts is not that thick, if you push too much you might break it.

After assembling, the ball joints of the 3 joined fingers that you will connect to the palm is a bit small that make it loose. I also modify the other hand but that one is not that loose. Maybe it is because of the imperfect molding of TT Hongli Kits. Hopefully this will be tighten after painting. Stay tuned for more. Thanks for your time.
