Review: Banpresto One Piece DX Figure The Grandline Children Volume 2 "Portgas D. Ace"

Hi guys! Here is my review of my latest addition to my hobby. From One Piece Manga/Anime. It is Portgas D. Ace when he was a child. Manufactured by Banpresto with the series of One Piece Grandline Children.

I got this figure just yesterday, The price is nice since the Item is bought directly from Japan. These figures are fun to collect and they are mostly cute than their older versions.

The packaging comes with more or less 7x5 inches box. On the front of the box you will see the Banpresto Logo on the upper right side and the Toei Gold Sticker on the lower right part. Some printing of the name Portgas D. Ace and the series The Grandline Children vol.2.

The right side of the box shows the Figures front. And some writing of One Piece and The Grandline Children.

The left side of the box shows the Figures back. And a writing of One Piece.

The back of the box shows Ace and Boa as included in the same Volume of Grandline Children Series. Also some information in Japanese that I couldn't read.

The bottom of the box says The Grandline Children and Portgad D. Ace.

The top of the box says Portgas D. Ace

The packaging inside is nice. The figure in separate in parts (Head, Body, Left hand with Stick, Base) are inside a sealed plastic and over a bubble wrap which is nice to protect the figures to be scratched or be broken during the shipping/transportation. The left hand with the stick is also sealed in plastic and been protected by a cardboard to prevent having the stick broken.

The overall details are great. The creases on the shirt and shorts are nice. The facial expression feels like Ace is more bad ass. They also did a great job with the Stick for the scratch details. Here are some pose of Ace standing on his base.

Although there no articulation on the figure. You can still set a different feel on the figure because you can turn the head side by side. The stick on his hand can move up and down.

The base is just plain. If you flip the base you can see the sign Grandline Children under it.

Overall, this figures rocks! The paint job is nice, as well as the pose. The base is kinda off to me since is just plain. They could have write the name of the figure in it. But non the less, the figure is superb. I give this figure a 10/10. That's it for now guys.

Thank you for viewing.
